EV CHAPTERS

Regional Chapters

Equal Voice Chapters and University Campus Clubs aim to increase public awareness about the under-representation of women in politics by hosting events, providing networking and mentoring opportunities, and organizing campaign training schools.

National Capital Region

The National Capital Region of Equal Voice started up in September 2004. The two overarching purposes of this chapter are - to host and organise events to increase public awareness about the significant under-representation of women in the political sphere; and to encourage political parties and grassroots organisations to nominate and elect more women for all levels of political office.

British Columbia

The BC Chapter of Equal Voice was launched September 27, 2004 with guest speaker Doris Anderson, the past editor of Chatelaine Magazine and a long-time women's rights activist.
